Communication on Cybersecurity Incident
We inform you that the LUNA Group was the victim of a brutal cyber-attack perpetrated by a cybercriminal group, which resulted in the disruption of some of our services and compromised the personal data of customers and employees. Grupo LUNA has already informed the competent authorities, started investigations and has a contingency plan in place in order to restore normal services and mitigate potential disruptions.
Although it is not possible at this time to accurately assess the extent of the attack, based on the information obtained in the ongoing investigation, it is possible that contact data, identification data, addresses, among others, have been affected. The information exposed by different data subjects may vary.
The disclosure of personal data through public means may increase the risk of its illegitimate use, namely to obtain other data that can be used to compromise computer systems for fraudulent purposes. It is recommended that you pay extra attention to unsolicited communications in which you are asked for personal information, passwords or confirmation data and that you do not click on links or download attachments from suspicious email addresses.
The LUNA Group vehemently repudiates this criminal act and deeply regrets any embarrassment to our customers and employees.
We make ourselves available via the e-mail address complianceofficer@lunahoteis.com for any clarifications that may be necessary.
